Boswellia - Rediscovering a Powerful Anti-Inflammatory Herb

Boswellia serrata has been used as a traditional Ayurvedic herb for more than 3,000 years. The tree produces a resin which is treated through specialised and patented processes to produce the extract used in Nature's Way® Standardized Boswellia Extract tablets.

The major use of Boswellia serrata is as an anti-arthritic and anti-inflammatory. Its anti-inflammatory actions, supported by solid science, are attributed mainly to the presence of boswellic acids and are indicated as supportive treatment for rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, soft tissue rheumatism, gout, low back pain and fibrositis.
