Antioxidants

Antioxidants are a group of vitamins, minerals, and enzymes that help protect our body's cells from the formation oxygen free radicals and peroxides - the highly destructive agents that cause cell damage and contribute to initiation of cancer. Dietary antioxidants include Vitamin A, C, E, Beta carotene, Coenzyme Q10, Flavonoids, Glutathione, and Selenium. These nutrients may quench free radicals directly themselves, or stimulate the production of the bodies own endogenous antioxidant systems - Superoxide dismutase, Glutathione peroxidase and Catalase.

Homoeopathics

Homoeopathy is a natural, non-drug therapy. These remedies have been used for over 200 years, are a popular choice of the English Royal family, and they can be used alongside any conventional medicine. Bach flower remedies are not strictly homoeopathic remedies, but work in a similar way. They too can be used with any conventional medicines, do not have any side effects and are safe for all ages as well as pets. They work on a mental, emotional level restoring balance. Rescue Remedy is our most popular formula. Tissue salts also fall into this category. Developed by Dr Schuessler believed that the body comprised of 12 vital minerals and that a balance of these minerals was necessary for good health.

Ointments

Ointments, depending on the ingredients used, may be used for cuts, grazes, bruises, scars, wound healing, boils, sunburn, nappy rash, and other skin disorders.
