Ceres Organic Almond Butter uses certified organic almonds that have been lightly roasted and then ground, giving it a distinctive, rich flavour.  Its delicious as a spread and a great ingredient in baking and for sauces and desserts.  No additives, artificial preservatives, colours or emulsifiers.  Oil separation will occur naturally - simply stir with a fork or knife to blend.  Contains only organic almonds and organic sea salt.   My favourite way to eat this is on vogels bread toasted.  It is much yummier than peanut butter.  300 grams

Did you know that 1 tablespoon of Tahini provides a huge 120mg of calcium.  This makes it an easy way to get to the minimum of 800mg of calcium we need as New Zealand adults each and every day. If you are not keen on the taste, start with just a very small amount and build up, as your taste allows.  If you eat peanut butter, put on a thin scraping of tahini on first and then the peanut butter on the top.
