Greenridge Scarless Healer.  Made with St John's wort and Calendula in a healing cream base. A must in the first aid kit. May be used for infected or clean wounds, burnt or scalded skin etc. In Germany  and other European countries Calendula is used topically on slow to heal wounds and for ulcerations on the leg.  Internally it is used to help with the much faster healing of surgical wounds.  Pharmacological studies, most involving animals, have confirmed a wide range of activities. Calendula extracts are anti inflammatory, anti viral and stimulate the immune system to increase the particle ingestion capacity of white blood cells. In addition, calendula increases granulation at the site of a wound, promoting metabolism of protein and collagen, so in other words, helping grow new healthy cells.  Topically calendula is widely accepted for treating inflammation of the skin and mucous membranes, slow to heal wounds, mild burns and sunburn.   Hypericum offers topical pain relief, and an anti septic action.
